They are looking for a Head Chef to
come on board and lead their brigade of 4. This busy Hotel restaurant prides
itself on producing all in house from the freshest local Yorkshire produce.
They are seeking a Head Chef to come on board and be hands-on in this small
hotel. They are seeking a head chef to bring fresh ideas to the table and look
to raise the standards of the food. The new focus will be on quality rather
than quantity.
This Head chef position may suit
an experienced Sous looking for their 1st Head chef position. You
must be passionate about food and show some flair and imagination. This North
Yorkshire hotel has an excellent reputation in the local area and beyond. This
busy hotel is producing exciting fresh food for up to 90 covers on a service.
The hotel also offers weddings up to 100 covers along with small conference facilities.
The establishment uses all local north
Yorkshire suppliers and is very proud of this fact. To re literate this fact
they produce a daily blackboard menu which utilities the best produce available
depending on availability and seasonality.
They are looking for a chef with
excellent kitchen and man management skills. You must have a real passion for fresh
quality food and for sourcing local produce.
As Head Chef you will also be responsible for the financial side of the kitchen
– maintaining and improving standards as well as hitting gp and wage% targets.
Head chef skills required:
Experience
with working with all fresh food at least Sous chef level
Right attitude
Passion for food
Must be able to run the kitchen
Must be hands on
Have flair and passion
Excellent man management skills
